SURF SCHOOL IN DAYTONA BEACH

We offer private and group surfing classes in Daytona Beach, FL for adults and kids ages 7 and up at all surfing levels. We are conveniently located at Daytona Beach. Stop by our kid’s surf school for teens to discover your surfing adventure today in Dayton Beach. Lessons can be 1 or 2 hours long and we have packages available for those looking for continued surf instruction. Our surfing lessons are available for people at every level, from first-timers with no ocean experience to more advanced surfers.

ABOUT THE OWNER

Starting out surfing at 11 in Daytona Beach, Ryan Ragan swept his first contest at age 14 and decided to make a career of it. He’s been competing and free surfing ever since, being featured in magazines and videos around the world. He now calls Daytona Beach, Florida his home.

Now-a-days, Ryan spends much of his time spreading his knowledge and the love of his favorite sport. Ryan is the founder and owner of Vast Oceans Surf and SUP School. He teaches all types of age levels and skill levels.

Ryan was awesome, we went out for 1.5 hours and I was able to get up 6 times! He had everything planned from the right board, right spot, and a photographer that captured all of the great moments. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I previously had a lesson with a different instructor and was not able to get up and felt very discouraged about surfing, but after surfing with Ryan I can’t wait to go again! He’s the best instructor and I totally recommend him for any level of surfer that wants to have a great time!
